Grant Request

The following is information the Foundation requests on the grant application. All grants should be submitted electronically. Prior to applying, email inquiries@byerlyfoundation.com to discuss your project idea in more detail. Foundation staff will send you a link to the grant application during the grant cycle.

  3. What are the goals of the program and how will outcomes be measured?
  4. What strategies arebeing planned to accomplish the goals of the program?

  7. Give examples of other positive outcomes your organization has produced over time.
  8. Provide a copy of your latest financial statements, a detailed project budget, and 501c3 documentation.
Once a grant proposal is submitted and it has been reviewed by the board, the Foundation staff will contact the grantee. Contact us for grant submission deadline for this fiscal year.

Who is eligible?

The Byerly Foundation can make grants to qualifying 501-C-3 organizations and certain other public, governmental units for charitable and community focused programs. The Foundation does not make grants to individuals and it does not fund any scholarship programs. The Foundations mission is to help make Hartsville, S.C., one of the best communities for living, working and raising a family.

What happens after grants are submitted?

All grant requests are read by the Trustees of The Foundation. The trustees may request a grant to be explored further. In this case, a member of the Foundation team will contact the organization applying for the grant.
